The AP-300 Polarimeter is fully automatic and very easy to use. You just need to fill the observation tube with a liquid sample, place it in the sample chamber and press START.
The result is displayed digitally and is large enough, making it easy to read the measurement. The AP-300, generally used in the pharmaceutical, perfume, cosmetic, chemical and food industries, is the best instrument for measuring the angle of rotation. In addition, it has the International Sugar Scale which is commonly used in sugar factories.
Software, PolariSoft is also available to support customer’s FDA 21 Part 11 compliance.
This product comes standard with a two (2) year limited warranty against manufacturer defects from the date of original purchase. The warranty period can be extended to three (3) years if the product is registered with ATAGO .

Optical rotation is affected by the temperature of the sample, but the specific rotation specified by the Law of Pharmacy and Food Additives is not a single value, but often has a certain range. A sufficient measurement can be made by acclimating the sample to room temperature. However, in recent years, there has been a growing demand for constant monitoring of sample temperature, with the goal of more accurate measurement.
For conventional temperature control methods,

The ATAGO temperature controller is a new method that does not fit into any of these.
The built-in temperature control increases the size of the polarimeter, but the ATAGO polarimeter maintains its small size by maintaining the separate temperature controller. This way, existing polarimeter users who purchase this accessory will also be able to monitor the temperature.

No water required
Since it has a Peltier thermal module, the temperature can be kept constant without the use of a water bath. Not having to prepare or dispose of water after use means it is hygienic and labor-saving.
Temperature control time reduction
Since there is no water that needs to be adjusted, the temperature can be adjust faster. Additionally, because the sample container is made of stainless, heat can be transferred more efficiently, shortening the time needed to reach the target temperature.
Lightweight and compact
The weight of the thermal module is approximately 1.6 kg and the control part of temperature is only 240g. Very compact in the palm of your hand!
