Pocket Acidity and Brix Meter PAL-BX|ACID
Bs. 0.00Bs. 0.00
With PAL-BX|ACID, comprehensive fruit, sugar (Brix) and acidity parameters can be measured with a single device. It measures the sugar level (Brix) through a refractometry method using light refraction. In addition, it measures the level of acidity through the electroconductivity method using electric current.
Sugar balance (Brix) x acidity
In addition to the level of sugar or sweetness, acidity or sourness is another important element that influences in the flavor of the fruit. By simply pressing a button, it quickly displays the indispensable sugar acid ratio of fruits and vegetables.
Simple measurement procedures
To measure acidity, dilute the sample with water, place it on the sample platform and press the START button. Anyone can easily take these measurements.
No reagent required
Conventional acid level measurement, such as the acid-base titration method, requires large quantities of expensive reagents and tedious disposal procedures. ATAGO Brix acidity meters require absolutely no reagents!
Easy-to-read measurement values
The acid-base titration method derives the acid content as the phenolphthalein changes color when the solution becomes alkaline, but it is difficult to determine the equivalence point. With ATAGO Brix acidity meters, anyone can easily see the results with a digital readout.
Transportable and Easy to Carry
Transportable and compact size. It is light and can be easily carried by anyone.
Glassware is unnecessary
We have heard from customers telling us how they broke the glassware needed for the titration method. Have peace of mind and don’t worry about damage with ATAGO Brix acidity meters.
