  • Hydrophilic material with excellent resistance to organic solvents
  • Dry thermal stability up to 180°C
  • Reduced protein absorption capacity, even lower than that of cellulose acetate
  • Water extractables < 1%
  • Excellent resistance to aqueous solutions in the pH range of 4-8 and organic solvents such as acetone, acetonitrile, chloroform, ethylene glycol, isopropanol, etc.
  • Autoclavable at 121°C

Used for the filtration of alcohols and aggressive organic solvents, especially those used in HPLC.

The wide variety of Microclar filter membranes allows you to find the best option for every type of laboratory filtration. They are available both individually packaged as sterile and non-sterile. Available in a very extensive range of materials and diameters.
